I don't know if you are old enough to remember when Alabama used mechanical
voting machines, but there was a sign at the top that said you were limited
to _3_ minutes in the booth. After that time, the poll worker was supposed
to ask if you needed help, and if you weren't finished within another 1 or
2 minutes (I can't remember which now), you could be asked to leave if
there were others waiting to vote.
