Republicans or Democrats? Which did you mean? It seems to me that Gore is
the one fighting to the last because Bush is increasing his lead and he is
desperate for anything that will swing the election his way. Gore
obviously doesn't like the outcome so far. It's hard for me to say this -
I voted for Gore and really don't much like the idea of a Bush presidency
- but Gore is the one making himself look bad. If he conceded, he and the
Democrats would do better in the long run.

Sure. Bush has a lead but not yet a very comfortable one. The fact is, no
matter who wins it is by a statistically insignificant margin.
