Ahem. Heinlein's "juveniles" are his best work, and when people say
that they love Heinlein that is usually what they are talking about. I
read "Time for the Stars", "Have Space Suit--Will Travel", "Citizen of
the Galaxy", and "The Star Beast" at least a dozen times each. Other
juveniles are all very good as well. In my opinion, his best "Adult"
books were "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress", "Stranger in a Strange
Land", and "Starship Troopers". Although Troopers is really a
juvenile...

Of Heinlein's later books, "Friday" is readable, as is "Job". If
you've never read Heinlein, don't bother with the others.
