The brinl1 game, that begun more or less one week ago,
needs *observers*. An observer reads all public messages
and [in this game] is able to send messages to one or to
all players.

I am the GM, and it's not a good idea for a GM to write
an annual summary of events - because I know *everything*,
and it's hard to be impartial when writing those reports.

There is a two-step procedure to become an observer:

Step 1: you must register with the "judge". This judge is
an e-mail robot that will handle the bureaucratic part of
the game (receive moves, process turns, etc). In order to
register, you must send an e-mail message to the judge:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

whose *body* must be like (change for your name, etc):

REGISTER
Name: Aretha Holly
Phone: (505) 555-5555
Site: University of Hodunk
Address: 1515 St. Claws Lane, Kris Mass
Country: USA
Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], host2!host1!user
Level: Novice, Intermediate or Expert
Birthdate: Dec 25, 1907
Sex: Female
END

This information will become public to all those that know
your e-mail, so if you want to preserve privacy, you may
fake all information except email (put here a list as long as
possible; you might need to send from some other place in an
emergency; the return address will *always* be the first)
and level (you are all Novice :-))

Step 2: ** after ** the register was sent (the judge replies
if there is any error), send another e-mail to the judge with
the lines:

observe brinl1 <password>

Replace <password> by something simple to remember; I may
override a password in case you forget.

Step 3: if you want to know what has happened, you can
signon and then issue the command "history":

signon obrinl1 <password>
history
