Everytime the electoral college differed with the popular vote a republican
was elected.
To back John on this one, this, even if it is true, is only circumstancial
evidence, and means little, because the number of elections in which the
loser of the popular vote won in the electoral college is not a significant
number (the number is too small to be a statistically significant sample).
It may suggest a problem, but it does not prove it. I would recommend a more
analytical attempt at a proof... if you can prove that the smaller states
almost consistantly favor the Repulican candidate, or if you can prove that
republicans almost consistantly get a greater percentage of the electoral
votes than the percentage of the popular vote, then you will have better
evidence.
