Kristin,
I would say this it is as simple as having a worn-out keyboard. Try the
obvious first. You can also turn the keyboard upside down and shake out all
of the crumbs that tend to collect between the keys. Usually when I do it, I
get enough product to feed a mouse family for a month. ;-> A last ditch
effort would be to bang the key really hard.

I'll say it again... Nothing on a computer can't be fixed by a good
ten-pound sledge.
