Stuck Down Altkey Again

Remember when I asked for advice about NetHack? my keyboard behaving as if
the alt key was stuck down until a reboot? well I don't think it was
Nethack or IE so much as using streaming audio from IE. Either Realplayer
6.0.7 or Windows Media 6.x (yeah, I know these aren't the newest
versions) from IE 5.0x. on a Compaq Deskpro EN with an ESS audio
chip. really weird things happen. Any windows programmers know?
