Sounds like all of the public school teachers and administrators in the US
need to quit and join Teachers, Inc. Once that company has made a profit it
can influence elected officials via PACs into increasing pay for teachers,
and then they can quit and go back to being lowly peons for now
slightly-better-than slave wages.

Another tangent, though: Kristin, you don't seem to trust corporations and
you don't seem to trust governments. Anybody or any thing you do trust? Any
social institutions you place any faith in?

(As I said, I don't. I don't think humans are capable of organizing
themselves effectively around really large tasks. Which is why I generally
go for the least complicated approach and decentalize everything. At least
things are more direct.)
