Yep, I didn't mean to single out the new administration. Despite the fact 
that polls of the american populace appear to indicate a large majority of 
people wanting an increase in space spending, the last several 
administrations haven't been keen on increasing NASA's funding.

I don't think this is specifically "anti-space", though; the usual "everyone 
wants X but nobody wants to pay for it". Space is just an easy target, since 
cutting the space budget doesn't affect as many people as cutting most 
national programs or closing army bases.
