That would be nice, but I have what I have, and aside from possible
problems later this month, it works for me. And Dan. And Dan's father,
mother and brother. (We're all driving the same model car, and most of us
have the same features. And in that situation, you realize just how
different each individual car can be!)
If I could afford to just get another car, I might do that with an eye for
getting one I can fit into more easily, but all the stuff we're getting
for the baby is expensive enough that it's not reasonable to do. :)

I just determined last week that I shouldn't try to drive Dan's car,
because getting the seat to a position where I can reach the pedals is
near impossible now. (I can ease the seat back, one notch at a time, but
I can't bring it forward.) I'm not looking forward to taking my car in
for an oil change or anything anytime soon, because they *will* mess with
the seat position and it'll be near impossible for me to set it right
again before I drive off. If I need to have something done with my car,
maybe I should make Dan take it in and bring it back, and do the adjusting
in our driveway when we've got plenty of time for it. Or maybe he could
bring Tanya over to adjust it -- she's close enough to my height that she
could get it within 1 notch of ideal, and then once I determined what the
appropriate adjustment was, she could make it.
I don't think I've done anything amusing enough for bystanders to laugh
about, at least not in public. (Dan is deriving some amusement from some
things, but he doesn't let on unless I'm in a good mood already. Which,
fortunately for both of us, is most of the time anyway.)
