Thanks for the sympathy. Usually I simply love to drive, the further the
better. Always did and still do. Whereas everybody hates to drive in real
dense traffic jams I actually enjoy to get my thoughts together or to observe
how others go slightly mad if someone actually keeps an opening of more then
one car length. It's fascinating to see how others don't cope. And if you
drive different countries you see totally different styles of driving.
Actually it's more like if I get the chance I'm behind the wheel. Makes me
feel utterly relaxed.

(Problem I'm starting to have is that controls on the side of the wheel are
slowly getting beyond my reach. Can't bend my upperbody anymore because junior
finally managed to fill the lower half of my upper body, which means that he
finally reached my lower ribcage this week. Guess I'm still lucky that that
happened so late in pregnancy. Now it is getting a bit difficult to move
around or pick things up or get up from some sitting positions. A well only
somewhere between three and five more weeks to go.)

For the most part I actually really could care less about what others do on
the road. I simply try to react as best I can, usually by keeping a little
extra distance in front of me if someone comes up too close from behind. Or by
just letting them pass at the next best easy opportunity.

But if I'd had had the chance to see the licence plates of that truck I'd have
given the information on this guy to the national truckers association
information line for bad and dangerous truckdriving. Yes we have a national
snitch line on truckies. They really take action if a number comes up too
often. So it does help and bosses and insurence companies love it. Alas that
guy was and stayed so damn close I couldn't even see the plates. My guess,
less than 50cm distance at a speed of 50 kmh. I'd say that is rather daring.
And once in the jam, a lot of cars entered from the side lane in front and
behind of me and I still couldn't get those plates. So he got off lucky,
.....this time. I guess that is what irks me most.
Besides I still haven't built those James Bond rocketlaunchers into the
trunk..... ;o)
