You too?
I have really nasty allergies, and I've basically written this off to them.
Despite the fact that I got a new cocktail of drugs on Monday, I'm no
longer sneezing or anything, but I'm still left with the heavy mucus
production thing. Basically, my awake life is one long effort to keep
spitting out the mucus from the back of my throat so that I can keep
breathing. (I have no idea how I manage to still breathe by the time I
wake up in the mornings.) Of course, my throat doesn't like all that
mucus back there either, and is all swollen, and doesn't like swallowing
things much. I'm going to try calling the doctor again tomorrow morning
and see if I can squeeze in a consultation before the weekend. His office
was inexplicably closed by 2:30 this afternoon when I finally cried "uncle."
I'll have to try that spicy idea though.... I think I have a frozen burrito
someone in my freezer......
