I didn't know what you meant by the MG BGT, I thought maybe it was a new car
they were showing. Then I saw the driver's list. I don't know what's more
shocking: racing a 67 MG BGT or that a 68 Datsun 510 was faster?!?

Why are either shocking? Don't forget that for a while, the dominant force
in world rallying was the humble Mini, and there's still a Mini only
rally-cross series in the UK (called MiniCross, natch!) that is quite
possibly the cheaper racing series in the world to compete in... (Well, a
full race-spec car can be obtained for around �700...) :o)
As for the little question mark in your previous post about the Subaru World
Rally Team coming from England, yes, it would do. The SWRT is run by
prodrive, based in Banbury, Oxfordshire. They've been preparing Subaru cars
since Colin McRae was driving a Legacy Turbo rally car...
