I think I'm about 4 hours from Galveston, and if something really big is
hitting there, chances are I'm going to get some rain, but nothing is
going to hit here badly enough to do in my windows.  (We'd probably need a
tornado for that, and we do get tornadoes within 15 miles of here often
enough that that's what I worry about.)  If it were worth the while for
someone to drive for 4 hours with plywood to Galveston, I could do that,
and there would probably be plenty at a reasonably cheap price in Austin
to be able to do it easily.
