Yeah, I know why the movie producers made the decision, I'm just raising an eyebrow at the likelihood of a padawan getting to customize his wardrobe like that. It's not consistent with what I assume would be the strict discipline held for jedi trainees. Oh, I get it! Ep2 is actually a crossover between the Star Wars universe and the Sith Academy universe.
