All the codebreaking in the world wouldn't have helped one bit had there
been no pilots for the Hurricanes and Spitfires when the Luftwaffe started
their attacks on the UK. Codebreaking is important, but war still requires
"dumb fucks" to shoot and get shot at. Some of them are black, some of them
are, as you so rudely* put it, "poor white trash", and some are just average
guys. Could codebreakers have even established a beachhead at Normandy?
Until someone develops robot drones to do the actual shooting and getting
shot for us, wars will still be won and lost based on the quality of dumb
fucks slogging through the mud, driving tanks, piloting planes and dying on
battlefields.
