Let me say at the outset that I'm not a Napster user, and the number of
musical pieces I have downloaded in the form of .mp3 files could probably
be counted on the fingers of one hand. However, I put together a lot of
materials for class and record them on CD-ROM, so anything that might make
different machines incompatible will cause me problems.
Also, I heard something a couple of weeks or so ago about the prices of
blank CDs being supposed to triple this summer. Anyone else hear that, and
do you know if it has anything to do with the anti-piracy issue?
