Mmmmm, Argentine beef. Now that's good eatin'!
I only had a chance to have it once, on my honeymoon in Aruba. There wree
all these folks passing out flyers, advertising restaraunts that featured
"Beef from Nebraska!" and "American Beef!" and I'm thinking to myself, "Why
would I want that? I live there!"
Then one guy handed out a flyer for "The Argentine Grill," espousing
free-range beef from the pampas. Now, I can't speak to the veracity of that
statement, but I will say that I left that place truly sated. If I could
find one here in NJ, I would go in a second. Only the *very* pricey Ruth's
Chris in NYC, and a French place called "Les Halle" in DC could rival that
steak.
Jim,
Friendly neighborhood carnivore.
