That depends on how much you exceed the speed limit. Exceeding it by less 
than 10 km/h will cost you NLG 60. Exceeding it by 20 km/h will set you 
back NLG 110. Exceeding it by 70 km/h results in a fine of NLG 1,000.

Further, when you are pulled over for exceeding the speed limit by 50 km/h 
or more, or when you speed is > 1,5 x speed limit, your driver's license 
will be revoked immediately. It is then up to the court to decide if and 
when you'll get it back.
