The review in Salon was my first tip that it might not be very good. The
trailers all looked good, and didn't seem to all show the same 2-3 scenes
over and over, which is usually a tipoff that those are the only good parts
of the movie. But it sounds like, once again, they should have hired the
person who did the trailer to do the movie. :)
The Fellowship of the Ring looks great. Spartacus, cool. And agreed re:
Crouching Tiger, though I appear to have enjoyed Gladiator more than you did.
I'm also looking forward to Planet of the Apes (please, please be good!) and
A.I.
