Sounds like a total nightmare. I have a couple of friends who insist on
sending me *every* 'virus warning' that comes their way.
When confronted with the hoax pages from the antivirus folks (again!!!) it's
always "Well, better to be safe than sorry, it could have been real this
time."
Um.... when the text is *IDENTICAL*, apart from the name of the virus??? And
I am safe. I don't go to warez sitez, I use a virus checker, I don't open
unsolicited e-mail, and I have a firewall...
"But... but... oh, have you forwarded that other e-mail to raise money for
that kid with a brain tumour in Okinawa? That was from Microsoft, it must be
real."
