Don't despair Kristin. Although I do have a problem or two with the way
listmail is going at the moment, I take most comments in good humor. Even if
some rather personal attacks in the past have made that somewhat difficult at
times. But if I may I do have a suggestion.
One thing I do have somewhat of a problem with is dragging in sidelines. It's
one of those things that complicate discussions unnecesary and mostly only
serve to confuse matters. Keeping a clear discussion line without drowning the
original discussion in a lot of periferal comments thereby pushing mails into
the L3 realm is difficult. I know I've been doing it on occasion and it didn't
serve clarity (or the sake of the discussion for that matter) one bit. Another
thing. I rarely have the patience of picking apart such posts with multiple
issues and put them in seperate threads again. But I think we should make that
effort every so often.
