Remember that the evil baby eating capitalists and the
hordes of lawyers are at odds with each other, with
the citizen being the beneficiary.  As far as a
socialist government vs a lot of private health care
institutions, when you go shopping, where do you get
better service?  a mom and pop store or a big
conglomorate?  Smaller makes for a more efficient and
caring organization, the US has had that taught to us
time and again.  Besides, if the goverment screws up,
they just say..  Eh, sorry.  If the HMO screws up,
they very well may go under.  More on this, i'm busy
doing research on Canadian vs. US health care systems.
