How do you unsubscribe? JDG is turning me into a bigot. well i am sure he
thinks i am one already. but among the heaviest posters right now he is
about the only one from the USA which is more pitting us against the rest
of the world, and I have ALWAYS believed republicans to be the party of
the rotten selfish or else people i cannot relate to like Fundamentalists,
or anyone whose religion pushes a political mandate on them, and he has
NOT changed my mind. I can't take any more of this jabbing in the ribs.
The conserative climate is making me hate my own country and OK if it's
"Freedom" then maybe I should sell myself into slavery. (Whatever he
thinks Western Europe has, say. I didn't mean chattel slavery...) i feel i
am being baited and goaded into a rage and I cannot stand it anymore
because i SImply cannot come up with rational responses to a Republican
ideologue!!! so I think I am going to unsubscribe as soon s i figure out
HOW. Perhaps I was born in the wrong country because I NEVER could buy
into the notion that i had been born in the absolute best country on the
planet period. perhaps I should have been a Swede. or even a Japanese with
their collective rather than INDIVIDUALIST mentality because INDIVIDUALIST
is used as a eupphemism for "selfish" way too much. THere are some
interesting discussions her but I don't have TIME to peruse them anyway,
and the only things I really even want to answer are the ones that are
making me flaming furious. So goodbye. I'll miss you Kat and Dolphin but
you are the ones who can come up with rational responses to conservatism
if anyone can. Everyone ELSE on the list i respect is from another country
and the whole TIDE OF WORLD OPINION right now is souring the international
nature of the list. You can't discuss geopolitics right now without
bringing up the hot buttons everyone here and ELSEWHERe is feeling sour
about when they discuss politics. I can't stand it any more. I don't know
if admitting you can't tolerate Republicans is as bad as hating black
people or women or whatever. well I'm pretty sure I have some republican
friends but I NEVER discuss politics with them.
