Dan & I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on June 29, and as a
present, he got me a new computer all my own, never been used by anyone
else. (This was a first for me.)
It doesn't have a name yet. Well, it has the name TEMP, which I don't
want for it to have permanently. I'm having a hard time coming up with
something right now, and I thought I'd ask for suggestions, open up some
sort of brainstorming, to help me come up with something.
I'll let everyone know once I've decided what it is I'm naming it.
Just to give folks an idea of what sort of things we've named computers
around here in the past:
The P-90 got named Fiver, so when I was naming the 386 I got for my own at
that time, I named it Hazel. (Watership Down.)
Dan's most recent personal computer acquisition is named Ellie, after the
character in Contact.
SF-nal references are welcome, but not necessary. Good reasons for
suggested names would be appreciated. (And there's no way I'm naming it
HAL, so don't even bring that one up. Thank you.)
