Well, it's going to be visible to all the other computers on the household
network, and so anyone using any other computer here is going to want to
know which machine has the particular files I share, and it would just
look nicer if it were named something other than TEMP.

who actually refers to systems by their name to avoid confusion, and who
named the work machine from Hell "Woundwort" to go with the other
Watership Down names.  (And the router was named "Bigwig".)
