But I want to! You are certainly right that I can't blame
them for the worldwide subjugation of women. How about just the
subjugation of women in Western culture?

I do admit to simply being against the religions that
are dominant around me. Why if everybody was a Pagan, I'd
probably pick a different religion just to be contrary.
