I use voicemail.  If I have it on, I know when someone's trying to call
me.  If I turn it off, I might space turning it back on, and if someone
wants me to come home ASAP because the baby's getting hungry and I
hadn't planned on being out past his next feeding, it's in everyone's
best interests that I know someone's trying to reach me.
