This discussion, I think, will hinge on a key question: do you agree or
disagree with my definition of what is science.  If you disagree, we need to
thrash that out before discussing this, because my views will be strongly
tied to that.  If we agree, then I will use that as a starting point.

My guess is that you are combining your understanding of science with an
assumption that some form of strong realism is valid.  But, I need to
understand that better before going on with my arguements.
