I'm with the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in the Postal Square Building
next to Union Station. I'm a bit more than four miles from the Pentagon -
so I watched it happen on TV just like everyone else.
We were sent home at 10:30 - and Union Station was still open then. I
walked right onto a Metro, and then right onto a bus and made it home in
record time. Count one for public transport.
