And count one against.  It took me four hours to get home to Queens from New 
York City this afternoon.  No subways, no express buses and no LIRR service.  
Thousands of people stranded, and, in a city where the people complain about 
everything, no grumbling.  Just lots of very stunned, subdued looking 
pedestrians. And everything looks like it will be closed here tomorrow, too.
