Strangely, yes.
The bombing of the World Trade Center was not an act of war.
Crashing airplanes into it was.
This country *has* been a victim of terrorism before. Yet, almost
everyone agrees that this time, its different.
Heck, even Hamas has denounced this attack. I think that clearly the
enormity of this attack has gripped us all - and I think that the enormity
of this attack is not lost on even the terrorists who planned it. This
sort of attack is unprecendented for a reason - and I think its because we
are dealing with a new and greater evil than we have dealt with before.

True, it is a judgement call. After all, *all* humans are questionable -
even the United States.
