Where is that coming from? I haven't heard a single person say anything
remotely like that. Certainly not anyone in a position of authority. Where

This all seems like taking basic, necessary precautions to me. It would be
criminally irresponsible NOT to call up the reserves, etc.
No civil liberties have been suspended, no martial law declared. Congress has
not been shut down. The media have not been told what to say. Other than a
brief cessation of air travel, plus an obviously necessary blocking of travel
into NYC (although, for the most part, not out of it), travel has remained
free. We haven't seized any territory, we haven't bombed anyone, we haven't
thrown Muslims into camps. "Grabbing power"? What the hell are you talking
about?
