I certainly support returning the land being part of any peace treaty. Do
you suggest that the land all be returned and then Israel will see if the
Arabs will agree to peace in gratitude.

That's the second post in which you have used that term. In typical use,
ethnic cleansing means more than the people who supported the defeated
party in a war deciding to move on. It usually includes mass killing, as
in the Balkans. Do you have evidence of mass slaughter of Palestinian men
women and children?

Use of such exaggerations with regard to Israel has usually been eschewed
for obvious reasons. So I don't arrive at the wrong conclusions, could you
please clarify this?

Out of curiosity, why do you write things that indicate that you are so
worried about the possibility of Israel pushing all Arabs out of the West
Bank, when they have Arabs in their government, and appear so unworried
about the possibility of the Arabs finally eliminating Israel, as they
almost did in '73. Does the fact that the Arabs tried to eliminate Israel
the minute it became a nation lessen their claims for land at all?

Further, if you are talking Realpolitic, why worry about a few million
people at all, compared with getting on the good side of hundreds of
millions. The reality is that the US pays a price to support Israel's right
to exist.

Its true that the Jews got land that the British promised the Arabs. They
also promised the Jews the land too. My scripture professor who has close
Jewish and Palestinian friends gave a great description of the original
problem:

"The problem is the Europe paid its debt to the Jews with the Arab's money."
