A few days ago 4,000 Palestinians were considered representative of the
entire Palestinian people. Now, you apparently consider the actions of 1,500
people to be representative of the entire Palestinian population. I do not
know exactly how many Palestinians live there, but even 5,500 people still
make up a very small percentage of the population.

I do not know what footage you have seen, but I have seen footage of
Palestinians condemning the attack. I have seen footage of Palestinian
students standing outside a school, having a moment of silence for the
victims of the bombings.

The fact that some Palestinians support Osama bin Laden does not mean that
the entire population is as hate-driven as that small group is. I can
imagine that there are a handful of Americans who would cheer if the US
would right now nuke half the Middle East in retaliation; that does not mean
however that *all* Americans are so hate-driven as that small group is.

Has it occured to you that what the Palestinian police did, they did in
order to protect the Palestinians from revenge? Pictures of a Palestinian
crowd carrying a picture of Osama bin Laden might very well lead to
repercussions from Israel.

I note, BTW, that you have not yet answered my question which was quoted at
the top of this message. I still await your explanation of what the actions
of a government official have to do with whether the entire population
celebrated, or only a small of that population celebrated.
