It literally means, "after this, therefore because of this." A logical error 
in assuming that because one event happens after another, the latter event 
must have been caused by the prior one. Assuming causality because of 
sequence is not necessarily wrong; but simple chronological sequence does not 
prove causality. You have to show demonstrate causality, not simply assume it.
