Horowitz is a loon. Whatever Lee and Dellums did it wasn't treason. Treason
defined in the US Constitution is "Treason against the United States, shall
consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies,
giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless
on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession
in open court." [Article III, Section 3].

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle's confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul steps pollution.

No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

The Star-Spangled Banner, Verse III by Francis Scott Key
