It has not so much to do with *what* you are saying, so much as *how* you
are saying it.
Bashing is the process of systematically slamming the United States. It
is the opposite of presenting calm, reasoned disagreements - such as the
discussion that led to us agreeing with each other last week.
BTW - No one suggested that you didn't have a right to say what you are
saying, and I have no idea why you brought it up.
