I'm offended and insulted that so many people are spending so much damn time being so damn offended and insulted by so damn many other people. Therefore, to those of you who are standing on soapboxes and denouncing one another while being offended at being denounced, let me say this:
When you stand on your soapboxes and pose heroically, I can see up your kilts. And believe me, the sight is not as impressive as I think you hope it would be. It's pretty insulting and offensive, too. So, for my own peace of mind -- and we all know what a delicate mind I have -- please, please, please just give it a rest or take it off list. And please think a moment: if taking it off list just wouldn't be satisfying, then that might very well mean you're no longer trying to persuade the other person & you're just playing to the gallery.
