Isn't there one at Camp Mabry visible from southbound MoPac? :D
Of course, the one I'm thinking of probably doesn't work, and you could
get into some serious trouble trying to get into Camp Mabry these days,
so you probably can't get yourself a tank there. Or at my next
suggestion, which was going to be Ft. Hood....
Hijacking a DUKW might not be so difficult. Call 4-SPLASH to find out
about the Duck Tours; if you staked out part of the route, you might be
able to hijack the thing. Of course, I don't know that you'd know what
to do with it if you wanted to drive it yourself. (I *do* know that if
you're steering it in the water, it feels more like driving a '72 Impala
than, say, driving a Caprice Classic.)
