How about long hair? That could be used to strangle someone.
A braid can pack quite a sting, as well. There was a time when, if my
hair were in a French braid, I could hit the person walking next to me
with it like a whip. (I could do it a lot better if they were walking
on my right than if they were walking on my left, for some reason.)
