I have a child that is one day younger than Jeroen's. I've done the breastfeeding thing and it is a lot of work.
You have to work over and around the child. When you sit down to feed you must be organized, ready and have everything within reach. Normally one hand is on the child to maintain the lach. So, under ideal situations yes you could read, but you may have to do it one handed. It makes it hard to turn the pages and the book is almost impossible to retrieve if it drops to the floor. >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 01/25/02 09:45AM >>> On Fri, 25 Jan 2002 03:21:27 -0600 Ronn Blankenship <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > >So I'm going to have to figure out some other way to get the time > toread _Kiln People_. :) > > Julia > BTW, when I wrote "I suspect even I can point out the flaw in that > last > suggestion," it was because I was aware of the situation (though > perhaps > not all of the excruciating details given above ;-) ) from Julia's > earlier messages on the topic. > -- Ronn! :) - Note that 1) i'm male, and 2) i have no kids, so i don't know anything, but wouldn't it be possible to read while breast-feeding? Or is it somehow more active on the mother's part than just letting the kid take their nourishment? -Stephen (Steg) "mew... meep!" ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
