(note: two separate questions) The answer is in the Koran, somewhere in the first three or four Sura's (sp). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------- This is the sheerest misinformation! While there are suras which addressed a specific situation with some of the Jewish tribes in Medina, where they conspired with the Meccans against him, Muhammad had no animosity against Jews as a whole and continued to live in peace in Medina with other Jewish tribes who did not act against him. You may wish to consider the following sura: Indeed, be they Muslims, Jews, Sabians, or Christians, those who believe in God and the final day and who do good have nothing to fear, and they will not grieve. You are also ignoring the thousand and some years after Muhammad's death where Jews lived peacefully in Muslim countries even while being persecuted throughout Europe. The Arab-Jewish enmity is of very recent origin. Rhonda
