Shouting might not have been the most "average" form of conversation, but this thread got contentious enough that "pissing contest" came to mind a time or two. As a non- participant I tried to take it all with a grain of salt- what I pull out of the conversations is more intellectual, not form in this case. >_But_ - to call in an absentee > list-owner because you are unable to hold your own in an argument is > pathetic. Chat regulars get to see her more often than "posters" might. I think you all might like our fiesty physics MUD kicking orgami folding list owner. I have to say that I can't see Eileen in a heavy handed, intimidation for the fun of it kinda woman. I guess we have a Cornell/chat administrator, a technical and adminstrative list owners. We pretty much got our bases covered, we can always work out the bugs, and it sounds like we are doing that in ever living gorey detail as usual. Dee
