Leonard Maltin says Britannia Hospital is:

Absurdist comedy about a hospital beleaguered by labour woes, protest
groups, impatient patients, a resident mad doctor, and an impending visit by
the Queen Mother. Heavy-handed satire, but entertaining nonetheless, with
some actors in continuing roles from Anderson's IF... and O LUCKY MAN!

OK, setup is that Travis (young, idealistic TV reporter) is interviewing Mad
Scientist who runs a brain research institute. As they talk, Scientist picks
up human brain, pops it into blender. Keeps chatting away. Pours resulting
mush into glass and drinks it.

"Ah, wonderful drink. Full of protein y'know" then continues interview.
