"Rox" is short for Xerox, I suspect.

Brace yourself, the pun frequency rises exponentially throughout the book.

However, David admitted to me that he held back some of the worst ones.

The title itself is a pun for "Killin' People," I suspect, though he
wouldn't 'fess up to it.
