A couple of years ago one of our, er, more vociferous and temporary posters - no longer on the list - used to rabbit on continually about ORMUS, white gold, the philosopher's stone (minus the Harry Potter). ORMUS was the wonder material for new sources of energy, superconductivity or something. It just seemed a natural segue from Nikola Tesla (who's supposedly still living underground in Southern America - or is it Antarctica? - with Enrico Marconi) to ORMUS.
