I figure once I get there I can do subway, even take the ferry from New Jersey, but if there is a place on the island to park..... >> There are Park & Ride lots in New Jersey, but I'm not sure if they operate on a Saturday. An easy place to park in the city is the parking lots of the Port Authority Bus Terminal which is between 40th & 42nd streets and 8th & 9th avenues. It's big & central.
