I just went looking for them on the Web. There are some good books on data mining out there, but I do not see myself buying any of them -- not when they come with three-digit price tags... :-( If I were planning on earning a living in the data mining business, I would not have a problem spending some money on it. But since my data mining activities are limited to Brin-L, I think spending over EUR 100 on a book is a bit too much. But thanks for the suggestion anyway!
