When I was in college, my roommate was "playing" with a new receiver he had
bought when he accidentally discharged a capacitor with a screwdriver. I
was in the other room when I heard him yell. I came in to find him
surrounded by a peculiar cloud of smoke and a dazed look on his face. The
discharge had melted the tip of the screwdriver. Fortunately, it didn't zap
him more than surprise him. He was a lot more careful after that.
